Ride a gallops workout with British Jockey Richard Hughes

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be a Champion Jockey and put a horse through a serious piece of exercise on the gallops, then now you have the chance.

This season's leading Series rider, Richard Hughes, was equipped with a jockey headcam as he warmed up for QIPCO British Champions Day with a spin on Richard Hannon's famous gallops. Hughes looks to have some top rides as he aims to extend his lead in the British Champions Series Jockey Rankings, including Sky Lantern and Toronado in his 'Decider' clash with Dawn Approach in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

Hughes rode in the British Champions Day, October 19th 2013 - the richest day of horse racing ever staged in Britain.
