From Barnyard to Bedside: Horses Help Teach Bedside Manner to Med Students

University of Arizona surgery professor, Dr Allan Hamilton is a talented horse trainer who owns the Rancho Bosque Equine Center. Realizing the important role non-verbal communication plays when training and interacting with horses, Hamilton developed the world's first program for medical students and professionals using equine-facilitated resources to improve their bedside manner for human patients.


As a person who has ate & slept with horses more than 3000 nights and days of my life, this is a wonderful idea. So much about how to deal with each other can be gained through these innocent dependant individual souls of God.
