Breeders' Cup run for Wonder Gadot?

Gary Barber’s Wonder Gadot is scheduled to return to the work tab Friday morning at Churchill Downs, trainer Mark Casse said, in what will be her first breeze back since the Sept. 22 Cotillion Stakes at Parx toward a potential start in the Nov. 3 Breeders’ Cup Distaff.
Wonder Gadot, a 3-year-old filly by Medaglia d’Oro, has consistently hit the board in stakes company this year, including a runner-up finish to Monomoy Girl in the Kentucky Oaks. The only time she finished out of the money was in the Travers Stakes, in which she faded to 10th after dealing with a heavy kickback while covered on the rail.
Wonder Gadot also ran against the boys in the first two legs of the Canadian Triple Crown, winning both the Queen’s Plate and the Prince of Wales Stakes. She returned to contest fillies again following the Travers and ran third in the Cotillion, beaten more than 10 lengths by Monomoy Girl and Midnight Bisou. Midnight Bisou was declared the winner via disqualification.
