GOLDEN GATE FIELDS
 

Golden Gate Fields, which is located approximately eight miles from Oakland and 11 miles from San Francisco, commenced its inaugural meet in 1941.

Golden Gate Fields' racing season of approximately 105 racing days complements both Santa Anita Park's and Bay Meadows' racing schedules by adding racing days between the end of The Oak Tree Meet and the beginning of The Santa Anita Meet, and by racing when Bay Meadows is dark.

Golden Gate Fields' facilities sit on 181 acres of land and include a one-mile main track and a 9/10-mile turf course.

Gulfstream Park GULFSTREAM PARK
 

The home of the Florida Derby, Gulfstream Park is the premier East Coast thoroughbred racetrack which operates during the winter months. Having first opened in 1939, Gulfstream Park is located on approximately 255 acres of land just north of Miami. The Breeders' Cup has been held at Gulfstream Park three times - in 1989, 1992 and 1999.

Gulfstream Park's racing facilities include a one-mile main track and a 7/8-mile turf track.

Laurel Park LAUREL PARK
 

Laurel Park, located in-between Baltimore and Washington D.C., first appeared on the racing scene on October 2, 1911.

The racing season at Laurel is divided into three meets and complements the racing schedule of Pimlico Race Course, which is located approximately 30 miles from Laurel Park. The racing season kicks off with the three-and a half-month winter meet on January 1. Racing returns in August for a three-week summer stand and the Maryland circuit concludes with a four-month fall meet beginning in September.

The facilities at Laurel Park include a 1 1/8 mile oval track with a seven-furlong chute and a one-mile turf course.

Pimlico PIMLICO
 

Historic Pimlico Race Course, home of the Preakness Stakes®, first opened its doors on October 25, 1870, making the Baltimore track the second oldest racetrack in the nation behind Saratoga, which debuted in 1864.

The marquee meet of the season takes place at Pimlico. The eight-week spring meet begins in mid-April and features 10 graded stakes races, including the middle jewel of Thoroughbred racing’s Visa Triple Crown on the third Saturday of May. The schedule complements the racing schedule of Laurel Park, which is located approximately 30 miles from Pimlico

The facilities at Pimlico include a one-mile oval track with 1¼-mile and ¾-mile chutes and a 7/8-mile turf course.

Portland Meadows PORTLAND MEADOWS
 

Portland Meadows is located on over 100 acres in the Delta Park area of Portland, Oregon. The normal racing season at Portland Meadows runs from October to April.

Santa Anita Park SANTA ANITA PARK
 

Widely acclaimed as one of the most beautiful settings for racing found anywhere, Santa Anita Park is the "Great Race Place". Santa Anita first opened for thoroughbred horse racing in 1934. It is situated on 305 acres of land approximately 14 miles northeast of Los Angeles. The Santa Anita Meet opens on December 26 each year and runs until mid-April. Famed for its art-deco style grandstand and view of the San Gabriel mountains, Santa Anita features a one-mile oval dirt track and a 7/8-mile turf course. One of the most popular spots at Santa Anita is the Frontrunner Restaurant, a gourmet tropical-themed restaurant which seats 750 people and affords a spectacular view of the finish line.
